Activities provisional schedule

Wednesday april 30th
19:00: Picking the people up at the hotels to move them to the Hotel Maritim in Los Realejos, where the cocktail party will take place. Checking of the participants data (titles, licences, insurance papers, etc.), delivery of documents, identification cards and promotional materials.
21:00: Official opening and welcome to FLYPA ’08 by the public authorities, mass media and invited institutions. Afterwards return to the hotels.

Thursday may 1st
10:30: Activities for partners(1) Route to the National Park of El Teide: Tracking, visit to the visitors centre and bus route to the rest of the National Park, and stopping places in all the viewpoints.
11:00: Opening of the Fair.
11:00 – 18:30: Tandem paragliding flights for all the people interested in it, together with the professional pilots, before registering at the stand the organisation team will place in El Socorro Beach, and tandem paramotor flights in the esplanade of the quay of Puerto de la Cruz.
12:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
13:00: Aerial exhibition of the F –18 planes of the Spanish Aerial Army set up in The Canaries.
16:00 – 18:00: Delivery of photos on the III FLYPA Photography Contest, in El Socorro Beach.
17:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
19:00: Closing of the Fair.
21:30: In Viera y Clavijo Square, the showing of Flypa Journey presented by the paramotor record breaker Ramón Morillas. Afterwards, 1st Flypa ’08 concert by Los Salvapantallas.

Friday may 2nd
10:30: Activities for partners (1) Route to the Volcanic Cave of San Marcos: Caving for beginners, including helmet and gloves.
11:00: Opening of the Fair.
11:00 – 18:30: Tandem paragliding flights for all the people interested in it, together with the professional pilots, before registering at the stand the organisation team will place in El Socorro Beach, and tandem paramotor flights in the esplanade of the quay of Puerto de la Cruz.
12:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
13:00: Base jump and parachuting show from the T-19 of the Spanish Aerial Army set up in The Canaries. Exhibition of the Acrobatics Parachuting Patrol of the Spanish Aerial Army (PAPEA). Landing in El Socorro Beach.
16:00 – 18:00: Delivery of photos on the III FLYPA Photography Contest, in El Socorro Beach.
17:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
19:00: Closing of the Fair.
21:00: 2nd FLYPA ‘08 Concert by ORISHAS. In the Sports Center of San Agustín, Los Realejos. Free admission and VIP Area for the registered people.

Saturaday may 3rd (The Cross Day)
10:30: Activities for partners. The Cross Day, one of the well rooted celebrations in the town of Los Realejos. Organised visits to the places of La Cruz Santa and Realejo Alto to see the traditional flower bowers.
11:00: Opening of the Fair.
11:00 – 18:30: Tandem paragliding flights for all the people interested in it, together with the professional pilots, before registering at the stand the organisation team will place in El Socorro Beach, and tandem paramotor flights in the esplanade of the quay of Puerto de la Cruz.
12:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
13:00: Base jump and parachuting show from the T-19 of the Spanish Aerial Army set up in The Canaries. Landing in El Socorro Beach.
16:00 – 18:00: Delivery of photos on the III FLYPA Photography Contest, in El Socorro Beach.
18:00: Closing of the Fair.
20:00: Canarian Dinner y Pyrotechnic show on the Cross Day, Los Realejos. One of the greatest pyrotechnic exhibitions in Europe.

Sunday may 4th
10:30: Activities for partners(1)< Route to the Country Park of Anaga: Tracking through the laurisilva forest and path throughout the network of viewpoints in the area.
11:00: Opening of the Fair.
11:00 – 18:30: Tandem paragliding flights for all the people interested in it, together with the professional pilots, before registering at the stand the organisation team will place in El Socorro Beach, and tandem paramotor flights in the esplanade of the quay of Puerto de la Cruz.
12:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
13:00 – 15:00: Last term about the delivery of photos that will participate on the III FLYPA Photography Contest, in El Socorro Beach.
13:00: Aerial show. Base jump and Parachuting exhibitions. Jumps from the helicopter.
17:00: Take off and show of the professional teams (acrobatics, paramotor and base jump).
19:30: Closing of the Fair.
19:30: Big Paella and 3rd FLYPA ’08 Concert by the Soundchaser in El Socorro Beach.
21:30: Closing function of the IV International Paragliding in Los Realejos, FLYPA ’08. Delivery of distinctions and III Photography Contest Awards. Official information and summary of results.
22:00: Pyromusic night show. Lights and surprises.
(1) Limited reserved seats. For all the people who come as partners. They will dispose of a free bus which will pick them up at the hotels they are lodged. In any of the routes it is necessary: be over 12, walk steady and secure, have good health conditions, good sole mountain shoes, food water, rucksack and cap.
